Best fried haddock sandwich I've ever had. It was also huge. That was yesterday. Went back today for the breakfast sandwich and thought it was very good. The others in our party had a great experience too. The service was very good, as was the cleanliness of the bathroom, but extremely small. No biggie for me. They close today for the season and we will reopen next spring.

Great seafood chowder with big hunks of fish & lobster. Reuben sandwich had lots of corned beef. Iced tea was real brewed. We'll be back

Delicious!! She can make any fish grilled if you didn’t want breading (gluten). Very accommodating and yummy!

As always, it was delicious. It is our go to breakfast place in town. Prices are good and the service is fast and friendly. Will continue to go for years to come. I recommend the corned beef!

The blueberry pancakes were massive and the sausage was tasty. I went early before breakfast crowd, this is a tiny restaurant I'm sure it fills up quickly.

The food was AMAZING! My husband had the special of the day which was a haddock Reuben and I had seafood chowder. Both great choices! The Chowder had tons of seafood and a nice mix! I ordered a homemade biscuit with mine which was $2 a little pricey for a small biscuit but it was delicious!Our service was perfect ... she was super friendly, attentive and on her game. If you're looking for a cozy spot in Bar Harbor, I would definitely recommend this place!

Charming Boothbay Harbor restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. The stuffed French toasts were amazing and the pancakes bigger than your head. The servers were quick and friendly. Definitely worth a try!

We visited this place 15 years ago many times when we got married and this restaurant was under different ownership and loved it then. New owners kept it basically the same with great food and great service. Kudos to the new owner and the success of this restaurant

Small but great food!

Waves was recommended to us by a local while we were walking looking for a breakfast place. We returned every morning. Absolutely the best pancakes and muffins. Eggs were perfectly cooked and the home fries were crisp and delicious.

Wow, came for the seafood chowder and what a surprise! I was expecting a simple chowder with white fish, beyond my expectations it had chunks of lobster, scallops, and white fish, and tiny shrimp in a creamy and well balanced herb sauce. A delicious worthwhile stop.

The best breakfast place in Boothbay Harbor! Im not a fan if eggs so I get the french toast and it also comes with sausage or bacon! It always tastes great!

There are a lot of reasons to love this place, from the charming all-booths decor to the delicious blueberry muffins and the excellent pancakes. Service has always been friendly and we've never had a bad meal here. Enjoy!

Friendly, attentive service, great food!

When I requested hot tea (perfect for a cool, drizzly Maine morning) I was kindly presented with a large wooden box filled with tea choices. Pretty exciting to a tea devotee like myself. The service was absolutely perfect. I ordered the eggs benedict; at Waves, it's served fairly bare-bones unless you request a protein. I opted for the spinach. My eggs were poached to that perfect runnyness and the hollandaise was creamy and tart. They know how to make a benny, and they make it well. Honestly though? Those homefries were the star of my plate. I will dream about those homefries for months to come. They were extremely crispy but soft fried, if that makes any sense, almost like they were beer-battered. It was a very memorable plate!

I recently got married in Boothbay and I sent all my guests staying in town to Waves. They absolutely loved it!! One of my friends raved about the shrimp omelette and another could not get over the hash browns! Waves is owned by a young local couple who are just lovely!!

Always good. Almost like the old Ebtide of yesteryear. Pancakes are the best fluffy and flavorful. Too much to eat and you leave full and ready for a long walk in the harbor.

We found this little gem in Boothbay walking through shops. Cozy little place with terrific Blueberry Mimosas! The service was great and with a smile and a delicious breakfast! We will return!

Ordered the Corned Beef Eggs Benedict. They make a very good Corned Beef Hash using a slow cooked corned beef.

Waves is a wonderful experience. Delicious food with fresh ingredients. Lovely quaint atmosphere with very welcoming and hospitable service. Highly recommend their eclectic build your own omelet. Love the Swiss, mushroom, and spinach! Awesome lunches with unique offerings. Highly recommended!

The sandwiches we had were delicious. The onions were not really carmalized but tasted good. The waffle fros were good. Nice seating. Breakfast looked good.

Stopped at this restaurant in downtown Boothbay Harbor for breakfast one morning and was not disappointed. Got the eggs and pancakes which turned out to be a delicious breakfast. They give you large portions and the prices are good too. It is a very small restaurant but they do a great job.

You want a different combo of food off the standard menu?? They’ll do that. Cute cozy harbor town with amazing food! Ate the crab omelet with cheese. Never thought of seafood combined with eggs but it was SO good! Friends had the bennie’s which were also amazing!
